CONS: I was abroad, packing to return when two of the three bags I took with me ruptured during the compression process. It wasn’t at the zip seal. It was at the bonding, so the bags couldn’t be resealed. I actually hung onto them for months till I returned to file a complaint. The CS person said it’s the first she’s heard, but I find that hard to believe. Their website seems to have ostracized the bags because the only way I found the product is by doing the following under Google “[...] compression” Pretty sad! Even the CS person couldn’t find it.

PROS: The CS person did have the direct link, which she emailed to me as well. My experience could be a fluke in the quality control because the bags aren’t a joke. They’re reinforced with nylon or perhaps glass strapping like strapping tape or Tyvek® bags, so they’re super strong under compression and tearing, much better than any of the other bag manufacturers I found. I just called customer service. They’re sending me two new bags to me without further questions.

OTHER NOTES: I think they should have asked for the ruptured bags so they could do an failure analysis, but perhaps they don’t care or are too big to worry about it. Regardless, I hope the replacement bags will be good ones to last. I originally bought these bags because they are/were made in the U.S.A., so I expected quality and localized customer service. At least I got customer service.

I bought this camera for my 7 year old and was really disapppoined with it. It was really light plastic and seemed like it could get broken quickly. The piece that holds the batteries in the bottom comes completely off and was rather hard to replace after loading them, also it could be easily lost. You also need to manually advance the film after each picture and the winder is not at the top of the camera so that is also hard to do. I would not recommend this camera for kids.
